Core and More by the Shore: Creative Teaching Through the Arts, Media, and Technology

Join us for SCCTE's 2013 annual conference at Kiawah Island Resort!

The theme of this year's conference is Core and More by the Shore and will focus on the Common Core State Standards as well as timely topics that impact our profession and curriculum.

Our keynote speaker will be Billy Collins. Named US Poet Laureate from 2001-2003 and New York State Poet Laureate from 2004-2006, Bruce Weber of The New York Times called Collins "the most popular poet in America." A Guggenheim Fellow, his work has appeared in a variety of periodicals including The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and The American Scholar. His readings are usually standing room only, and his audience typically includes people of all backgrounds and age groups.
