SCCTE membership provides you with powerful teaching tools-practical information that you can use, and inspiration from other teachers who are committed to the teaching of English and the language arts.

Regular membership dues are $20.00 per person. First-year teachers may join SCCTE free of charge-just provide a letter from your principal indicating that this is your first year teaching. SCCTE members receive the following publications:

The Harbinger, a newsletter published quarterly
Carolina English Teacher, a juried professional journal published yearly
Carolina Writes, an anthology of student writing published yearly

In addition, members receive reduced rates at the annual conference. Please print a copy of the membership form (click here for membership form in PDF format) and send your membership dues to:
