 		2011 SCCTE Conference
Call for Proposals

Conference Theme: The SCCTE 2011 conference theme is “Building Bridges,” and teachers from across grade levels, institution types, and subject areas are encouraged to develop proposals that explore the various types of “bridge-building” activities in which teachers of English Language Arts (whether or not they call themselves “English teachers”) engage, share professional practices, and explore ways of building bridges between institutions and subject areas that might further enhance student learning.    

Session Information: Concurrent sessions are 45 minutes in length and will be scheduled either Friday, January 28 or Saturday, January 29, 2011. All proposals will be acknowledged by email when received, and those submitting proposals will be notified regarding their proposal’s status by November 1, 2010. Program participants must pay the conference registration fee in order to present at the 2011 SCCTE Conference.

Proposals can be completed online (below) or they can be completed and mailed or emailed by October 15 to:
