Carolina Writes Submission Form

Submission Guidelines
Note: Carolina Writes is open to all SC students in grades K - 12.

One submission per student.
-
Submissions have a 750 word limit.

Artwork must be no larger than 8x10. Scan the work and send as an attachment to jennybdean@gmail.com.

Put only the title on the title page of the submission.

List the name of the author, title of the piece, teacher, school, and grade level on a separate page.

The teacher must edit and proofread the submission before it is sent.

Use Times New Roman font, 12 point.

Do not use any special formatting or embellishing.

Teachers should send a personal email to jennybdean@gmail.com (or use the contact form below) verifying that their students' work is authentic. The name of each student and the title of the work should be listed.

Entries not conforming to the above requirements will be disqualified.
Important Dates
October 20
Submission process begins.
March 1
Submission process ends at 5 p.m.
May 1
Student award winners and others whose works are selected for publication will be announced.
