SOUTH CAROLINA ENGLISH TEACHER
SCCTE welcomes
contributions to South Carolina English Teacher (SCET), an online journal that represents varied perspectives, formats, and voices focusing on the teaching of English in our state. SCET publishes teacher research, critical essays, teaching strategies, bibliographies, interviews, personal essays, short stories, poetry, and other creative works including photography and drawings. Deadline for submission for the next SCET issue is September 30, 2025. All submissions attached by this date will be considered.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Carolina Writes is a literary arts magazine sponsored by the SCCTE for South Carolina featuring student-produced poetry, short fiction, personal narratives, and artwork. SCCTE holds periodic writing and art contests for elementary, middle level, and high school students to feature the top creators in our magazine.
Certificates provided for nominees and published writers. Deadline for submission is September 20, 2025. All submissions received by this date will be considered.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
As South Carolina educators, we understand the innovation and passion required to prepare our students for the 21st century. Our blog will feature member activities, lessons, philosophies, and more!
